Mumbai: The birthday of social worker Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad, Secretary of the Republican Party of India (RPI) and closely associated with Union Minister Ramdas Athawale for nearly two decades, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. On this occasion, social workers, party officials, and local citizens extended their warm wishes and appreciated her contributions to society.

Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad has been actively involved in social and public service for nearly 20 years. She helps poor and needy children with their education and also supports economically weaker patients in getting medical treatment. Due to her continuous efforts in social welfare, she has built a distinct identity among different sections of society.

She has also played an active role during natural disasters. During the floods in several districts of Maharashtra, she extended help to the affected people by sending relief materials. For her remarkable work, she has been honored by several organizations. In the past year alone, she has received more than 10 awards for her social contributions.

While interacting with the media, Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad said that the inspiration for social service came from her father and that she will continue to work for society in the coming years. She also shared that her mother passed away this year due to a serious illness like cancer, and her absence will always be deeply felt.

Becoming emotional, she said that in memory of her mother, she has resolved to support cancer patients in the future and will strive to establish a cancer hospital where poor and needy patients can receive completely free treatment.

Considering her dedication to social service and the remarkable work she has done over the years, people believe that Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad will continue to inspire society through her service in the future.
