Walk For A Cause is an initiative by Rabia Patel along with Giants Group of Mumbai One.

The event was held on 1st May 2019 at JW Marriott, Mumbai. The main highlight of the event was the ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam Awards’ whereas the daughters felicitated their own mothers. Renowned personality Dolly Thakore was the chief guest for the event that was hosted by celebrity anchor Simran Ahuja.

Ruby Machra( Mrs India Universe 2018) and Archana Jain(runner up of Miss India curvy 2019 and title holder of beautiful body 2019) walked the ramp as showstoppers.

            

The event was graced with the presence of Payal Pokarna (President of Giants group of Mumbai One), Hina Vyas(President of Giants group of Jogeshwari) Zenobia Khodiaji , Namrata Thakkar and Bina Shah of Smiley Souls Foundation.

Walk for a cause saw the specially abled also on the ramp. An event like this creates a platform to promote skill development. It also promotes cancer awareness related programmes and financial literacy to empower more women and make them independent.

वाक फ़ॉर ए कॉज, “माँ तुझे सलाम” का अवार्ड समारोह जे डब्ल्यू मेरिएट में।

राबिया पटेल ने जाएंट्स ग्रुप ऑफ मुम्बई वन के संग वाक फ़ॉर ए कॉज “माँ तुझे सलाम” का शानदार आयोजन किया। १ मई २०१९ के दिन माँ को समर्पित यह बेहद शानदार समारोह मनाया गया, जिसमें बेटियों ने अपनी माँ को सम्मानित किया।

डॉली ठाकुर जैसी लोकप्रिय हस्ती इस कि मुख्य अतिथि थी, जिसे लोकप्रिय एंकर सिमरन आहूजा ने होस्ट किया। रूबी माछरा (मिसेज़ इंडिया यूनिवर्स २०१८), एवं अर्चना जैन (रनर अप मिस इंडिया कर्वी २०१९ और बीयूटीफुल्ल बॉडी २०१९ की विजेता) ने शोस्टॉपर के रूप में रैंप वॉक किया।

इस अवसर पर जायन्ट्स ग्रुप ऑफ मुम्बई वन की प्रेसीडेंट पायल पोकरना, जायन्ट्स ग्रुप ऑफ जोगेश्वरी की प्रेसीडेंट हिना व्यास, जेनोबिया खोडियाजी, नम्रता ठक्कर एवं स्माइली सोल्स फाउंडेशन की बीना शाह की उपस्थिति ने रौनक बढ़ा दिया।

इस अवसर पर व्हील चेयर पर भी कई लोगों ने रैंप वॉक कर लोगो को प्रेरित किया। यह समारोह एक ऐसा प्लेटफॉर्म है, जिसमें प्रगतिशील होने की प्रेरणा, कैंसर अवेयरनेस, फाइनेंसियल लिटरेसी और महिला सशक्तिकरण को प्रेरणा मिली।
