The special screening and press conference of the Punjabi film ‘Aasra’was held in Eye focus Mumbai, there were many famous Bollywood celebrities besides producers and director associated with the film. Tinu Verma, who won the hearts by his acting in films like Aamir Khan’s film ‘Mela’, ‘Ghatak’ and ‘Aankhen’. People also know him as the action director of Shola aur Shabnam, Aankhen, loafer, Jeet, Raja Hindustani, Gadar: A Prem Katha.

 

Made under the banner of Divya Jyoti Film Entertainment the film is produced by Rajkumar, co-producer Ashok Malhotra and director Balkar Singh Bali while its artists include Rani Chatterjee, Tinu Verma, Guggu Gill, musician Devraj Nayak and Singer Jaspindra Narula.

Bhojpuri’s hit actress Rani Chatterjee, on the special screening of Aasra, said that she had a memorable experience by doing this film. I had to work on Punjabi language and tone. I liked to shoot in Amritsar where I enjoyed a variety of dishes.

Director Bali praised the producer Raj Kumar and termed the film as a great movie. He said that the way Rani was speaking Punjabi on the shooting, the people understood that this is a Punjabi girl.

Tinu Verma talked about the growing popularity of Punjabi films and its high standerd on this occasion. At the same time, he also emphasized that in the films, the audience preferred more Desi action.

मुंबई के अँधेरी स्थित आई फोकस में पिछले दिनों पंजाबी फिल्म ‘ आसरा की स्पेशल स्क्रीनिंग और प्रेस कॉन्फ्रंस रखी गई तो यहाँ फिल्म से जुड़े कलाकारों, निर्माता और निर्देशक के अलावा बॉलीवुड की कई नामी हस्तियाँ भी मौजूद थीं. इस विशेष अवसर पर हिंदी फिल्मो के कमाल के एक्टर और एक्शन डायरेक्टर टीनू वर्मा विशेष अतिथि थे, जिन्होंने इस फिल्म में एक अहम रोल भी किया है।

आपको बता दे कि आमिर खान की फिल्म ‘मेला’, घातक और ‘आँखें’ जैसी फिल्मो में अपनी गजब की एक्टिंग से सब का दिल जीत चुके टीनू वर्मा ने ‘माँ तुझे सलाम’ और ‘बाज़: ए बर्ड इन डेंजर’ जैसी फिल्मे डायरेक्ट भी की हैं. लोग उन्हें शोला और शबनम, आँखें, लोफर, जीत, राजा हिन्दुस्तानी, ग़दर:एक प्रेम कथा जैसी सुपर हिट फिल्मो के एक्शन डायरेक्टर के रूप में भी जानते हैं.

दिव्या ज्योति फिल्म एंटरटेनमैंट के बैनर तले बनी इस फिल्म के निर्माता राजकुमार,को प्रोड्यूसर अशोक मल्होत्रा, निर्देशक बलकार सिंह बाली है जबकि इसके कलाकारों में रानी चटर्जी, टीनू वर्मा, गुग्गू गिल हैं, संगीतकार देवराज नायक और सिंगर जस्पिंद्र नरूला हैं।

फिल्म आसरा की स्पेशल स्क्रीनिंग पर भोजपुरी की हिट एक्ट्रेस रानी चटर्जी ने कहा कि यह फिल्म करके उनका यादगार अनुभव रहा। मुझे पंजाबी भाषा और टोन पर काम करना पड़ा। मुझे अमृतसर में शूटिंग करना बड़ा अच्छा लगा। वहां मैंने तरह तरह के पकवानों का आनंद लिया।

डायरेक्टर बाली ने प्रोड्यूसर राजकुमार की प्रशंसा की और इस फिल्म को एक बेहतरीन फिल्म करार दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि रानी जिस तरह शूटिंग पे पंजाबी बोल रही थीं लोगों ने समझा कि यह कोई पंजाबी लड़की है।

टीनू वर्मा ने इस अवसर पर पंजाबी फिल्मों की बढ़ती लोकप्रियता और इसके ऊंचे होते स्तर की बात की। साथ ही उन्होंने इस बात पर भी जोर दिया कि फिल्मों में दर्शक देसी एक्शन अधिक पसंद करते हैं।
